If you want higher engagement from your audience, just ask. Your audience needs something to interact with during or after your video. To measure your calls to action more accurately, track analytics on the video and run A/B tests to figure out what engages more viewers. Solution: Sadly, it takes education for most NP’s to realize this system is not in their best interest – and that they may be alienating their supporters while costing themselves money needlessly. We built two machine-learning models: one for predicting conversions and one for predicting bounce rates. Each model used real-world data from a large sample of mobile e-commerce sites, correlating the impact of 93 different page metrics from image formats to number of scripts. Simply put, the two models looked for which mobile-site factors would lead shoppers to buy or bounce. The conversion model had a prediction accuracy of 93%, and the bounce model was even more accurate, at 96%.

I have a product-based business (skincare to be precise) and I’ve been doing a lot of research on sales funnels over the past few days but only ever come across examples for service-based businesses and struggle to apply those to my business. I do offer a free skincare guide at opt in but can’t think of anything else for the follow up emails to create trust as well as a limited time offer. Would you have any suggestions?
Ensure images aren’t any larger than they need to be, that they’re in the correct file format, and compressed for the web. 25% of pages could save more than 250KB by compressing images and text, and 10% could save more than 1MB. Regarding video, either leave it out or host the file on another platform (like YouTube or Vimeo) rather than your servers.
Yesterday I was in the Northridge Mall while my tires were being rotated at Firestone outside. When I walked in there a man was promoting Occulus, the 3D experience. . . for $5 a journey. I didn’t have any bucks so I declined. I was wondering why he didn’t use the email model of a free gift to get a subscriber; I mean a free trip using the mind altering adventure. Then I got to thinking about video and 3D in email, and it dawned on me the cycle of a company’s promotion is a like a trip into virtual reality–at least it could be a mind-altering experience for the recipient, especially for someone who’s tired of getting ads, ads, ads.

Still, it’s so important to remember that a list of 100,000 weak and “under nurtured” prospects will never stand up against a list of just 100 “strong and healthy” prospects.

Again, how well you move them through the various stages is going to set you up with a specific conversion for this action. For example, if 100 people click on your offer and 10 people enter your sales funnel but only purchase people purchase, then you have a 2 percent conversion. 

I just watched a video regarding tips to add to the Eweber page. There was too much information that I prefer to read it, too, in order to retain the material. The first thing you need to do is to make them notice you in a positive light. It’s very easy to pull a fire alarm to get people’s attention, but is that really the response you want? Unless you’re really in a fire and your target market is a firefighter, the answer is probably no. Don’t make people resent you. In this stage, you want to shine above your competitors, you want to get people to notice you and become familiar with your brand. However, “familiar,” isn’t enough. This is a good time to focus on your consumers’ interests and desires and forget about the nuts and bolts of your brand. Branded content strategies are excellent to use here because they appeal to your audience in a way that will make them receptive to the idea of a future interaction.
Google also has a great page with plenty of tools for the web developer serious about improving website load times. I will no doubt introduce some new things over time that will increase my download times again, but I will be sure to keep an eye on things. I’m sure there are a few other things we could do to increase the download speed of our pages, but that will do for now.
