Ensure images aren’t any larger than they need to be, that they’re in the correct file format, and compressed for the web. 25% of pages could save more than 250KB by compressing images and text, and 10% could save more than 1MB. Regarding video, either leave it out or host the file on another platform (like YouTube or Vimeo) rather than your servers.
Takeaway: We've mentioned a couple of ways to improve full-page load time already, including optimizing images, sticking to a performance budget, and avoiding third-party files that can slow load time. You can also optimize the fonts and structure of your webpages so they can be rendered faster and without preventing other aspects of the page to load. And, it can help to avoid redirect links, which automatically send users to new URLs.

The ultimate goal of a marketing funnel is to convert leads into paying customers and move your prospects from evaluation to conversion. It is at this stage that you need to help them decide between yourself and your competitors by demonstrating how your product or service can deal with their circumstances (like the example below). This will help move them to the point where they’ll be able to make an informed purchase decision.

Google has indicated site speed (and as a result, page speed) is one of the signals used by its algorithm to rank pages. And research has shown that Google might be specifically measuring time to first byte as when it considers page speed. In addition, a slow page speed means that search engines can crawl fewer pages using their allocated crawl budget, and this could negatively affect your indexation.
