Additional features and functionality always pleases website owners and developers. Widgets and plugins enable convenient changes to existing websites along with a slight burden on website performance. Even with the smallest of widgets such as the Google+ button box, the burden to website performance in terms of page load time can increase by as much as 2 seconds in some instances.
In a recent conversation I had with Perry Belcher, co-founder of Native Commerce Media, he told me that you also need to train your prospects to click on links. For example, you could have them click on a link of what interests them or link them to a blog post or eventually to a product or service that you're selling, but you need to train them to build a habit of clicking on those links from the very beginning.

69% of industrial company marketers report at best they are neither satisfied and at worst, extremely dissatisfied with online marketing efforts according to the 2014 Trends in Industrial Marketing (learned that from you :). The trouble is many manufacturers don’t know how to use online tools to achieve company goals such as customer engagement, retention, lead generation, etc.
The central thesis is a dichotomy between two modes of thought: "System 1" is fast, instinctive and emotional; "System 2" is slower, more deliberative, and more logical. The book delineates cognitive biases associated with each type of thinking, starting with Kahneman's own research on loss aversion. From framing choices to people's tendency to replace a difficult question with one which is easy to answer, the book highlights several decades of academic research to suggest that people place too much confidence in human judgment.[not verified in body]

A sales funnel is a marketing system. It’s the “ideal” process you intend your customers to experience as they go from Prospect to Lead to Customer to Repeat Buyer. Sales funnels have been around much longer than web marketing, but the online world is the best thing to ever happen to sales funnels because websites and email marketing make sales funnels easier to build.

The ultimate goal of a marketing funnel is to convert leads into paying customers and move your prospects from evaluation to conversion. It is at this stage that you need to help them decide between yourself and your competitors by demonstrating how your product or service can deal with their circumstances (like the example below). This will help move them to the point where they’ll be able to make an informed purchase decision.
If you want to make more sales through social media, you need to utilize the power of social media influencers. Get them to strategically feature your product in their photos or videos, or have them tell a unique and engaging story about your brand. You can also work with influencers who will give honest reviews about your product, and/or provide tutorials and how-to content regarding your product.

One of the first things you should do if your conversion rates look low is to examine your attribution models and conversion pathways in Analytics. You may be surprised to find that parts of your marketing strategy that seem like conversion duds actually have a big influence on your online sales. For example, maybe organic search isn’t a great channel for converting into sales, but people who find you first through organic search, and then see a Facebook ad are highly like to become a paying customer. If that’s the case, you should double-down on content marketing and pour some money into Facebook remarketing too (see Tip #1, below).
One example is that people are loss-averse: they are more likely to act to avert a loss than to achieve a gain. Another example is that the value people place on a change in probability (e.g., of winning something) depends on the reference point: people appear to place greater value on a change from 0% to 10% (going from impossibility to possibility) than from, say, 45% to 55%, and they place the greatest value of all on a change from 90% to 100% (going from possibility to certainty). This occurs despite the fact that under traditional utility theory all three changes give the same increase in utility. Consistent with loss-aversion, the order of the first and third of those is reversed when the event is presented as losing rather than winning something: there, the greatest value is placed on eliminating the probability of a loss to 0.
If a user clicks an ad for a specific product or service, the page they’re taken to should be about that specific product or service – not a related category, not a special offer for another product, but that specific product. Make sure your messaging is relevant across your PPC and paid social campaigns and the pages associated with them, so that ad clicks actually turn into sales.
The sales funnel we looked at from AWeber before may be a simplified version of what most brands are looking at these days, but the same principles apply. The only thing that’s really changed over the years is that we now need to pick up leads at every stage of the funnel in order to maximise conversions. We now put more focus on lead nurturing and optimising each stage of the consumer experience to prevent leads slipping away and buying elsewhere.
We take after sales support very seriously. If you ever have a problem using FastEye, all you need to do is hit the Chat bot on your dashboard and our support agent will be there to help you with anything (well as long as it’s related to Fasteye. I mean, you can try discussing your personal problems as well – but I doubt these guys are good at that – trust me…I tired :))

As you can see, each color-coded piece of the funnel pictured above roughly corresponds to stages 2-4 in the buying process. The widest tier at the top of the funnel represents “awareness,” the point at which potential customers are beginning their information search. The second tier is “consideration,” roughly corresponding to the evaluation of alternatives described in the purchase process above. And finally, the third tier, “decision,” is self-explanatory.

This is an important concept to have in mind when navigating a negotiation or considering a price. As an example, most people, when asked whether Gandhi was more than 114 years old when he died, will provide a much larger estimate of his age at death than others who were asked whether Gandhi was more or less than 35 years old. Experiments show that our behavior is influenced, much more than we know or want, by the environment of the moment.

Not only will your visitors appreciate this, but Google will reward you. After all, they’re in the business of selling ads. As we mentioned, pagespeed is now factored into Landing Page Experience (one of the three core components of Quality Score). If you speed up your landing pages, you’ll see higher Quality Scores, an improved Ad Rank, and larger Search Impression Share (your ads will show more often).

Optimization is the buzzword of success in the cyber world. Cyberspace, like the real physical world of planets, stars and galaxies is itself in flux – a state of continuous change and evolution. In fact, change is the only consistent process across both the real and the cyber world. Survival in these spaces depends on how well the inhabitants can adapt to varying resources and environmental circumstances.
As a software engineer myself, I can tell you that building funnels from an application standpoint takes massive amounts of work. There's a great deal of coding and integration that's required here. From email systems to landing page implementations to credit card processing APIs, and everything in between, so many platforms need to "talk," that it takes the bar too high for the average marketer.

AMP has caused quite the stir from a philosophical perspective, but the technology hasn’t received as close of a look. A few weeks ago, Ferdy Christant wrote about the unfair advantage being given to AMP content through preloading. This got me wondering: how well does AMP really perform. I’ve seen folks, like Ferdy, analyze one or two pages, but I hadn’t seen anything looking at the broader picture…yet.
Solution: The Nine Steps to Feng Shui(R) System is the easiest way to learn Feng Shui online. The information is presented clearly and in a sequential, by-the-numbers manner, that is easy to understand and apply. My background as an architect assists me in delivering advice that creates healthy environments where people feel happy, comfortable and safe, and that also look great.
As a financial coach, my “perfect financial plan package” includes a 90 minute strategy session to determine what they really want their money to do for them, how they work, and where their behaviors have sabotaged those desires. Followed with a step by step action plan including a list of activities to shift the automatic behaviors that them away from the plan as well as any forms or scripts needed to address immediate sticky situations. This is coupled with 3 months of unlimited e-mail support and 3 follow up accountability sessions to tweak parts of the plan that might not be working and hold my clients accountable to making mature financial decisions that support the life they ultimately want to be living.

Big problem: Manufacturing and retail businesses that need more international orders to add cash to their bottom line but who don’t have the budget/willingness to recruit and train their own international sales teams. These businesses are worried about failing in export and losing their investment or have failed in the past and need a sure-fire international team to ensure their success.
I can see that Optimizely is using a simple landing page with a 15-minute demo for the conversion. I could model this for my campaign. You can also set up alerts in SEMrush to get notified when a competitor changes the landing page. If you see a competitor using the same page for extended periods of time, it could indicate a high-converting template you should be replicating. Eliminate the guesswork 🙂
According to Sam Waltz, founder and president of Sam Waltz & Associates Business and Communications Counsel of Wilmington, Delaware, most audiences are way too sophisticated to get distracted by flashy drawings that designers tend to hold in front of executives as being what branding is all about. "It's about finding, creating, and perpetuating a resonant win-win relationship with your critical stakeholders," says Waltz.
I always call my toughest clients first and keep calling on them long after everyone else has given up. Once a month, I make a list of our company's most difficult customers and create an attack plan on how to get those accounts. The first month we incorporated this strategy, I landed one of the biggest deals of my career. You can't bring the big deals home without getting into the deep waters where the big fish swim.
I have created the “muscle zen method” to bring you relaxation within 1 hour. And if done correctly I have had people report unbelievable painfree results within 4 hours of practice. based on the theory that 90 % of back pain stems from muscle inballances in your back the “muscle zen method” can in a very simple way relax muscles that have been tensing up for years and at the same time strenghten those way to weak muscles that you usually cant target. And the best is the “muscle zen method” is safe to be used in the comfort of your of your own home.

Consider every question you can possibly think of about your product, and answer it in your copy on your product pages. Similarly, think about every potential objection a prospect might have about your offering, and preemptively overcome it in your copy. This might seem impractical, but remember, you’re not bombarding prospects with unnecessary information – you’re giving them exactly what they need to make an informed decision. This approach is also an excellent exercise in writing tight, clear, concise copy. If you’re worried there’s too much copy, you can always trim it down. Just keep the focus on the customer and how it benefits them, not why your company is so awesome.
Principle of commitment & consistency -- When people commit to something, they're far more likely to purchase from you. That's why getting them to agree to something like a free + shipping offer or by agreeing with something you've said in some way. This is a powerful principle in sales and if you pay attention to some of the best marketers in the world, you'll notice that they work fervently to get your commitment to something, even if it's very small in the beginning.
The reason I call this the ideal scenario is because it assumes that you found Spotify from your Google search for "streaming music." In reality, Spotify worked to attract you to their service through YouTube ads, social media advertising, and other marketing channels. After all these efforts, the Google search was just the last piece that pushed you over the edge.
The tool helps to identify the next-best actions for website speed optimization tactics. In the sample test shown above, the tested website needs to fix some errors for requests that aren’t being found. However, it’s important to understand that optimizing these website design elements is an ongoing and evolving process that starts from the ground-level of website development and implemented across all new pages as the website scales.
Revision management is one of the perks that WordPress has to offer. The CMS automatically keeps track of the content created on the CMS and makes all of it available for future changes. To the server, this costs unnecessary processing through additional database entries not actually required in the first place. Controlling the number of revisions stored relieves the website core of useless burden.
My solution: I’ll be her turnkey solution. She tells me what she needs, and I let her focus her time and energy on developing that course she wants to sell. I’ll take care of the installation and presentation of all of the widgets she needs to add to her site to make selling her thing possible. She gladly pays me because while she could probably figure it out, she’ll make more money sooner if she pays me to do it.
As a potential lead moves out of the phase of awareness, they enter a period of consideration. It is at this stage that you begin to strengthen your relationship. The customer has developed a more specific desire to explore your company. They want to know about you, your products, and services and how they can benefit them. In turn, you will be able to glean more information from customers about themselves, enabling you to provide targeted solutions and content that explain exactly what your company and your products could do for them.
We take after sales support very seriously. If you ever have a problem using FastEye, all you need to do is hit the Chat bot on your dashboard and our support agent will be there to help you with anything (well as long as it’s related to Fasteye. We are a town planning and development company and we help people develop their land. Their big problem for people is knowing whether they should they a property to develop and if they can actually develop what they want and make money. We offer a brief discussion first to understand what they are doing. In our world, we know if something is generally possible, but with local government and 500 page planning schemes, the devil really is in the detail. We offer to our prospective clients a Preliminary Site Report. This confirms what is possible and looks for any issues that might kill the deal or add large hidden expenses. During every conversation I will ask what they expect to pay for the property. If they say $500,000 I will generally say “that a small investment of $550 to confirm that what you want to do is possible is definitely worth it as you don’t want to be left with a half million dollar property that you can’t sell.” I know it sounds a little salesy but as part of our a 10 minute chat, its much more natural. People always agree. I’ve only just changed my discussions about upside, profit and finding hidden expenses, and this new approach is resulting in much better sales.
Lookalike audiences in Facebook are essentially users on Facebook who share characteristics and behaviors to customers in your database. You upload your data to Facebook, which then cross-references its own data (and information from third-party data brokers) to create matches based on the criteria you specify. You can also use tracking pixels and data from app installations to help you create lookalike audiences. This is an excellent way to make the data on your existing customers work for you, as it effectively allows you to greatly expand your reach with minimal effort and use highly targeted ads to entice Facebook users who are very similar to your existing customers.
If you try to opt-in with the same information to get another video, they ask you to sign up again. I believe that is their process. Like I said, that creates some friction. Yes, you can enter a fake email, but, if you believe in the quality of the content (and it is really good content; Andrew is one of the best interviewers on the Internet), you won’t.
The bottle suit is a wetsuit for your bottle, also called a “beer bottle cooler” or “beverage holder.” Canned beverages require a neoprene can cooler or the convenient pocket coolie. To keep the sun out of your eyes and cut the glare, try our feather light eyeglass visor. The dyed and washed caps and hats are proven retail superstars, and we offer them at the cheapest discount prices available.
Let’s be clear—leads won’t automatically move down the funnel. Sales reps have to continue to do their part of selling and allow the CRM to update the lead’s stage in the funnel by completing certain actions. You can setup workflow automations in the CRM to change lead stages. For example, after you’ve contacted a lead, the CRM will automatically update the lead’s stage based on the last activity.

A marketing qualified lead (MQL) is a prospective customer who has demonstrated a particular level of engagement that leads the marketing team to conclude that real sales potential exists. The level of complexity involved in this assessment will vary based on the resources available to the team. Norman, for example, might conclude that anybody who fills out his online demonstration request form is an MQL. A company that’s using a marketing automation program might be able to set the bar to MQL qualification at something involving a combination of viewing specific pages, interacting with certain forms, and opening a certain number of email messages.
Similarly, the inclusion of trust signals can be an excellent way to increase online sales, as it creates a more favorable perception of your brand in the mind of the prospect and can potentially overcome hesitations preemptively. If your business has any professional accreditations (even something as routine as a Better Business Bureau certification or membership to your local chamber of commerce), put these trust signals front and center on your site. If you have an impressive list of satisfied clients, make sure your prospects know about it.
Problem: Most people think dehydration is something that would happen if they get lost in the desert and had to go without water for several days. The truth is that chronic (ongoing) dehydration is widespread. Most Americans are in a state of dehydration without even knowing it. According with Dr. Dave Carpenter, N.D. The common symptoms of Dehydration are: fatigue, constipation, digestive disorders, weight gain skin disorders, join problems, premature aging, acid alkaline imbalance…Seems familiar? More and more people of all ages claim this symptoms.

Businesses built around one or two customers that aren’t looking expand should focus on building out the loyalty phase of the sales funnel. Takeaway: One way to speed up the DOM ready time of your site is to avoid the use of JavaScript (a type of code) that blocks and prevents a browser from parsing HTML code. The most common elements with JavaScript are third-party ads, and analytics and social widgets that must be fetched from an external server before they can load. (Imagine that you're at restaurant and your waiter is ready to bring your meal, but first has to wait for the salt and pepper to be delivered from another restaurant.) For more ideas on how to prevent JavaScript from affecting DOM ready time, here's a guide for developers.
