Confession: As much as I enjoy reading other people’s posts (and I do read them!) I am basically interested in ME. Admittedly, I am curious when someone, especially you, Derek, replies to my comment and anxiously await a notification. I have signed up to receive notifications from this thread. The problem is that the notification only offers the NAME of the AUTHOR and the comment – and NOT which comment it relates to,which makes it pretty frustrating, when the comment is something like, “Well done!” or “Terrific idea!” Is he talking to/about me??? If you really want to know, you have to go back to the thread to check it out. With the growing number of comments, this is a tedious waste of time.
– Prices: we focus on giving the customers fixed price packages (noone in the market does so) and work very hard to make them as low as possible, so they can choose the finishing touches for their future home and know for sure how much it’s going to cost. And we sign a contract with the description of what they are going to receive, and how much it’s going to cost.
Website speed optimization is an ongoing and evolving process and goes well beyond subscribing to the best web hosting services in the world. Some business decisions intended to maximize revenue by altering website design and features adversely affect website performance by stealing size-able chunks from the bandwidth allotted to each individual visitor.
According to Google, every day the cyber world sees 99 years of human years wasted due to uncompressed Web content. And although most of the latest Web browsers support content compression capabilities, not every website delivers compressed contents. Visitors to these bandwidth-hogging websites experience insanely slow interactions with Web pages. Primary reasons for this unfavorable (and mostly unintentional) website behavior include misconfigured hosting servers, Web proxies, old or buggy browsers and antivirus software.
The technology has come a long way in improving internet experience. The over-crowded cyberworld of the 1990s was often labeled as the World Wide Wait, but innovations in communication and networking technologies have revolutionized the way digital information is transmitted across the internet. The next generation of online businesses have all the resources they need to deliver content instantaneously, but to leverage and complement these resources, businesses need speed-optimized websites that deliver the best user experience.
There are email warming sequences that include things like personalized value-driven stories, tutorials and even soft pushes to webinars, and of course product suggestions that happen over days or even weeks. The truth is that most prospects won't buy from your website at first glance, especially if they're only just becoming aware of you today. It takes time. Thus, the funnel is a multi-modality process, as there are a variety of relationship-building experiences and "touches" that occur through several stages.
Even if you spend thousands of dollars to drive qualified traffic to your website, it's unlikely that these visitors will be ready to buy your product or service right away. Rather than looking for the one marketing technique that will get you customers, instead think about how your marketing and sales efforts can work together to put your prospects on the right path. A sales funnel can accomplish just that.

Designers, illustrators and fine artists galore have issues with tangents and other compositional blunders in their work. A tangent is a broad term for a large group of unintentional mistakes based in visual composition, like tension points, closed corners, halved shapes, and more. I am writing an ebook on tangents, what they are, how to avoid or utilize them, and will also be starting to educate people on my blog shortly.
Remove obstacles from your buyer’s path to a purchase. Anything you can do to remove steps from your buyer’s journey to making a buy can help. If you require customers to create an account when they make a purchase with you, are you sending them away because they “already have an account with Amazon” so it’s quicker? Removing this requirement, or offering one-click signup to users through their social media accounts can both increase the percentage of customers that make a purchase with your site.
For example, Glossier promotes their products using beauty influencers on Instagram. As you can see in the screenshot below, micro-influencer Grace Abbott has provided a unique promo link for their products. By following the link, her followers can get 20% off on their first order from Glossier – and Glossier can see how much Grace Abbott is worth to their brand down to the last dollar.
As you can see, each color-coded piece of the funnel pictured above roughly corresponds to stages 2-4 in the buying process. The widest tier at the top of the funnel represents “awareness,” the point at which potential customers are beginning their information search. The second tier is “consideration,” roughly corresponding to the evaluation of alternatives described in the purchase process above. And finally, the third tier, “decision,” is self-explanatory.
47 percent of ecommerce customers expect page load times of less than two seconds before they consider leaving – 40 percent of users would abandon the site at the third second of waiting, before a performance analytics tool even captures their presence on the site. The average peak load time for conversions is mere 2 seconds – faster than millions of websites out there.
According to surveys done by Akamai and Gomez.com, nearly half of web users expect a site to load in 2 seconds or less, and they tend to abandon a site that isn’t loaded within 3 seconds. 79% of web shoppers who have trouble with web site performance say they won’t return to the site to buy again and around 44% of them would tell a friend if they had a poor experience shopping online.

Sometimes, when you’re stumped about why your sales funnel isn’t converting the optimal amount of customers, it helps to look at examples. We’ve revisited more than 10 companies that have strong sales funnels to see what changes they’ve made over the years. We’ve also added several brand new sales funnel examples and we plan to add more in the future.

solution: keep it simple! I am her online personal trainer on the go! Personal skype kick off sessions and ongoing support. She’ll get customized workout videos that she can perform in the comfort of her home and nutrition coaching based on her personal needs and goals. The workouts are short & sweet, but most effective. Never longer than 20 minutes & no equipment needed. She gets the liberty to train anytime & everywhere, whichever her agenda allows. This is about getting the independence she’s looking for, but still getting very personal support by me.

When a lead enters the CRM, it’s marked “new”. Every lead in this stage is in the top of the funnel. As sales reps interact with leads, they’re subsequently moved to the next stages. Filters and views in the CRM reveals the number of leads at every stage in the sales funnel to help you analyze their progress—how many new leads are in the funnel, how many have engaged with sales reps, how many are in the bottom of the funnel and ready to close, and how many need to be nurtured. This knowledge about your sales funnel becomes an actionable tool allowing you to plan your sales strategies.

Last month, in an effort to get a better sense of how Google’s advertising partners are doing, we did an analysis of 11 million mobile ads’ landing pages spanning 213 countries.5 That analysis confirmed our thesis: Even as most traffic is now occurring on 4G instead of 3G,6 the majority of mobile sites are still slow and bloated with too many elements.
It works because it’s simple. The CTA is clear. The design is trustworthy. In addition, the visibility of the signup button remains across all the pages, both at the bottom and the top of the landing pages. That’s a best practice. It also works because visually, they show you exactly what you’ll be getting when you sign up. There are screenshots of the application and not a lot of text. Mint is very benefits-focused.
Mediocre web hosts selling cost-effective services continue to maximize profitability by hosting thousands of websites on single instances of bloated Apache stacks. Un-optimized servers running thousands of public websites on a single server stack is particularly harmful to ecommerce websites characterized by uncontrollable web traffic spikes, multimedia content and large website files.
These tools use a bunch of browsers to load websites and replicate end-user website experience across disparate geographic locations. Performance bottlenecks are monitored across various elements of the web page under scrutiny including file size, load time, response time and requests pertaining to various website parts (JavaScript, CSS files, HTML, images, etc.).
Problem: Entrepreneurs are working around the clock, spending their days putting out fires, and running in circles on the hamster wheel and they can’t escape the madness. They end up volunteering their time and not getting paid enough for the value they are bringing. They have maybe hit a plateau in their biz and can’t bust through to the next level.
If you expect people to simply land on your website and purchase something, you’re wrong. Even if this happens from time to time, you’re missing a lot. There is a sequence of steps that they should go through before finalizing the order. This sequence will make them familiar with you — who you are, what your brand represents, what are the values you believe in, what others think about you — and develop feelings about your brand, like for example reliability, security, and positive attitude. People are much more likely to make a purchase after they get to know the seller a bit better.
The hack involved a combination of existing web technologies (like iFrames), stringent standards on webpages themselves (so they’d be guaranteed to load fast), and — critically — a different kind of infrastructure for how webpages get from a publisher’s server to your phone. These kludges are often the things that you see people complain about when they complain about AMP. iFrames have weird scrolling behavior, URLs don’t match, and AMP results often look anemic when compared to full webpages. (Fixes for all of those issues either exist or have been proposed.)
Buyers/Wholesalers/Distributors, etc. are those who pay for the goods. Instead of running a service for the Manufacturers, why don’t you flip the coin and offer a service to the buyers to find/source Manufacturers? It seems more reasonable to charge the buyer a small commission, as he gets the service.. (they pay for the goods)..instead of the Supplier?
In marketing automation, Ryan Deiss, co-founder of Digital Marketer, often describes the sales funnel as a multi-step, multi-modality process that moves prospective browsers into buyers. It's multi-stepped because lots must occur between the time that a prospect is aware enough to enter your funnel, to the time when they take action and successfully complete a purchase.

To explain overconfidence, Kahneman introduces the concept he labels What You See Is All There Is (WYSIATI). This theory states that when the mind makes decisions, it deals primarily with Known Knowns, phenomena it has already observed. It rarely considers Known Unknowns, phenomena that it knows to be relevant but about which it has no information. Finally it appears oblivious to the possibility of Unknown Unknowns, unknown phenomena of unknown relevance.

QUOTE: “From the millions of tests performed using our website speed tests, we found that the average load time for a webpage is 3.21 seconds…[] What we found was that, unsurprisingly, a page’s load time directly impacts bounce rate….[] as soon as the page load time surpasses 3 seconds, the bounce rate soars, to 38% by the time it hits 5 seconds!” Pingdom, 2018
