The key thing here is that your marketing funnel doesn’t end with the purchase. There is plenty more work to be done at this stage. You can add as many stages into this funnel as you deem necessary to your brand but, again, it’s up to you how complex your marketing funnel should be. You can also expand it with time as your strategy becomes more efficient and new opportunities arise.
To produce income online, you need a marketing mix of traffic, experience, interest and referrals. A marketing funnel carries a marketing mix which acts as ingredients for revenue. If you require customers to create an account when they make a purchase with you, are you sending them away because they “already have an account with Amazon” so it’s quicker? Removing this requirement, or offering one-click signup to users through their social media accounts can both increase the percentage of customers that make a purchase with your site.
